Worship. I am beginning to learn what worship truly is. My whole life I have seen people worshipping the Lord. I have seen people pouring out their everything during times of worship. I always wondered how they did it and why. I wanted to worship my God with everything I had but how could I possibly do that? What did I truly have to give?

Malaysia has shown me a new perspective to worship. For the church service here there are tambourine dancers dancing during worship. I got the opportunity to dance with them for worship and this truly opened my eyes to how the Lord views worship. I got to see every one in the church worship. I got to see them in such a beautiful vulnerable state. That is what the Father sees too. He see that even in your vulnerability you still choose to praise Him. He sees how you choose to become weak in the eyes of others to glorify His name. He just sees you. He does not see you as broken but as whole in Him. He sees you as His child and he delights in you.

I am learning what it truly means to worship the Lord. How to truly let the only thing that matters be Him. How to pour out my everything and hold nothing back.

Worship has been becoming one of my new favorite things. God comes and meets me where I am at. He does not ask for my worship to be perfect but He asks me to simply give him all that I have. All that I have can look so different everyday. Sometimes all that I have is jumping up and down and singing joyfully and other times all that I have is simply laying on the floor. Both of these ways and every other way in between is all that the Lord wants from me. He never asks for more than I can give. As I praise Him and pour out to Him, He is also filling me.
